MyFlexiO App - FlexiO tab: Netbalancing

Netbalancing shows the earnings generated by FlexiO through participation in net balancing. The value recorded reflects the previous month.

What is Netbalancing?

Netbalancing involves the process where energy suppliers and grid operators balance supply and demand within the grid. In this system, participants, such as FlexiO users, help stabilize the grid by offering their energy storage systems (batteries) to store energy or provide back-up energy to the grid during high-demand periods. Participants earn money for contributing to this process.

Grid balancing: How does it work?

The main screen shows the total value generated by FlexiO for the current year.
You can adjust the year by using the calendar button at the bottom of the circle.
The value in the circle is the sum of Energy Management and earnings from Netbalancing for the selected year.
If you want to see details about the earnings from Netbalancing, click the "Netbalancing" button.

Details of earnings and payout

Additional explanation can be found in the App by clicking on the info circle at the top right.
When your installation is participating, you will also see that there are earnings. These earnings are added to the total value under Netbalancing once a month. If you click further on the button, you will see the value per month.
LIFEPOWR follows the same payment terms as the parties to whom we have provided the services. This means that you will be paid 3 months after the applicable month. You will be notified monthly of both the expected payment date and when the payment has actually been made.
Example: Earnings from July, €47.85, will be paid in October.
