FlexiO is an innovative energy management software (EMS) that intelligently controls and optimizes users' energy flows, resulting in lower energy costs and additional revenue. It is designed to operate seamlessly, so users don’t have to worry.

1. Reduce Your Energy Bill

FlexiO balances between several factors:

Capacity tariffs
Self-consumption
Dynamic pricing
Weather forecasts
Adaptation to your behavior

These are the data points FlexiO starts its day with:

The buying and selling price of electricity is fixed (the only parameter that is 100% known)
FlexiO also considers the expected/estimated production from the PV installation
Based on historical data, FlexiO estimates the expected energy consumption of the building

Based on this information, FlexiO develops a strategy. In practice, this strategy is regularly adjusted depending on what is actually produced and consumed.

It’s important to note that FlexiO operates with an algorithm that uses available data to generate as much savings and revenue as possible — giving you peace of mind.

The algorithm constantly adjusts its strategy based on real-time conditions, but it cannot predict:

Fluctuations in electricity prices
Battery behavior

Of course, FlexiO can’t predict everything and sometimes makes minor mistakes.

2. Earn Extra by Participating in Grid Balancing

With FlexiO, you generate income by participating in grid balancing through FlexiO’s digital network. Each month, you can see how much you earned based on your contribution. You help keep the electricity grid balanced — which is becoming increasingly important due to the rise of wind and solar energy, as well as electric driving and heating.

Through FlexiO, you contribute to a more stable energy system and receive compensation from LIFEPOWR. A win-win for both your wallet and the planet!

FlexiO mediates between savings and revenue

Once you’re ready to participate, you won’t always be actively involved in grid balancing, even though it may technically be possible. In some cases, FlexiO may decide that your battery should not be made available for grid balancing because the expected revenue from offering this service does not outweigh the savings FlexiO can generate through smart control.

At certain times, FlexiO may choose to participate, even if it seems illogical — for example, drawing power from or injecting power into the grid at unusual times. FlexiO makes these decisions because the income from offering your battery for grid balancing is high enough to offset the additional cost of buying or selling electricity. FlexiO always chooses the most economically sound solution.
