Huawei SmartLogger3000
The FlexiObox transmits remote control commands to the Huawei SmartLogger 3000 by using a modbus TCP connection. After selecting the Huawei SmartLogger3000 on the FlexiObox settings, it will perform an automatic discovery on the network to detect the SmartLogger 3000 WAN IP address. For this discovery to be successful, the FlexiObox and the SmartLogger 3000 must be on the same network subnet, and the SmartLogger 3000 must have the Modbus TCP enabled.

1. Pre-requisites
The FlexiObox and the SmartLogger 3000 must be on the same network subnet.
The SmartLogger 3000 must have the Modbus TCP enabled. See section 2 for more information.
The SmartLogger 3000 firmware version must be at least V300R023C10SPC551The grid meter name must start with “Meter”, if more than one meter is connected then the name must be changed to “GridMeter”.
The PCS’s name must start with “PCS”.2.
2. Enable Modbus TCP
To enable Modbus TCP on the SmartLogger 3000, navigate to “Settings” >> “Comm. Param.” >> “Modbus-TCP” and set the following values:
Link setting: Enable(Unlimited)
Address mode: Logical address
Logger address: 0
Fast scheduling: Enable
LAN port: Disable

3. SmartLogger3000 device settings
Navigate to “Maintenance” >> “Device Mgmt.” >> “Device List” and confirm that:
The grid meter device name starts with “Meter”, if more than one meter exists then the name must be changed to “GridMeter”
The PCS’s name starts with “PCS”
If necessary, change the name of the devices to match the requirements, and click “Modify Device Info” to save the changes.

4. Active power control settings
Navigate to “Settings” >> “Power Adjustment” >> “Active Power Control” and set the following values:
Active power control mode: Remote communication scheduling
Schedule strategy: Strategy 1
Shutdown upon communication exceptions: Disable
Time for communication exception detection: 300
Automatic startup upon communication recovery: Enable
Limit solar inverter power upon active power scheduling timeout: Enable
Active power scheduling timeout threshold for triggering solar inverter power limiting: 300s
Power (in percentage of rated power) of solar inverter in case of active power scheduling timeout: 100% (Set to a proper value considering any injection limits)
Power (in percentage of rated power) of ESS in case of active power scheduling timeout: 0%

5. Battery control settings
Navigate to “Settings” >> “Battery Control” and set the following values:
Working mode: Charge/Discharge based on grid dispatch
Automatic SOC calibration: Disable
