If the inverter cable has shielding (recommended), connect the shielding to the right GND screw.
Tip: seal the screw- and dismantled cable part with a heat shrink tube
-
Plug the 3-screw part back into the LMA1 adapter.
-
Plug the cabled LMA1 into the LMGS Modbus RTU generic cable.
-
Connect the USB-A side into the FlexiObox.
You will now have following connections:

Tips
-
This adapter can only be used in conjunction with LMGS Modbus RTU generic cable to achieve direct serial Modbus RTU connection between the inverter and FlexiObox.
-
LIFEPOWR recommends using Modbus RTU rather than Modbus TCP:
-
Modbus RTU uses a direct serial connection between FlexiObox and inverter
-
Modbus TCP uses the local network and might be slightly less stable or less fail-proof
