[LMGS] Modbus RTU generic cable (30cm)

Description

Generic Modbus RTU shielded cable with a robust PCB.
This cable connection allows FlexiO to control the inverter by using Modbus RTU.

This cable can be used as standalone for some inverters.
Other inverter brands require additional adapters in combination with this cable.

LIFEPOWR recommends using Modbus RTU rather than Modbus TCP

• Modbus RTU uses a direct serial connection between FlexiObox and inverter

• Modbus TCP uses the local network and might be slightly less stable or less fail-proof

Other inverter models: use LMGS + LMA1 adapter (screws)

For all other Modbus RTU FlexiO compatible inverters a manual wired cable can be used.

Use these combinations together with LSF2 or a Cat6a or higher S/FTP network cable.

All above mentioned combinations allows FlexiO to control the inverter via Modbus RTU.

Installation instructions

Connect the RJ45 female connector with additional adapter (LMA1-2-3) or via a shielded network cable directly to the inverter, depending on brand/model.

Connect the other end of the LMGS cable (USB) to the FlexiObox.
You can choose which 4 USB ports to use (2x USB 2.0 black and 2x USB 3.0 blue).

Tips

• For the cable extension to the inverter, use product number LSF2 or at least a Cat6 S/FTP cable (shielded) to avoid interference and poor QoS.
