Installation: Eastron Meters
This guide describes when and how to install and configure HomeWizard Eastron meters.
When to use Homewizard Eastron meters
The Homewizard Eastron meters are used when:
There is a retrofit system in the household which is not measured by FlexiO, to use instead of an estimated measurement
If there is no P1 port available, or if there is no access to the P1 port, an Homewizard Eastron meter should be installed. In this case, the Homewizard Eastron meter should be placed at the start of the fuse box, right behind the main residual current breaker. This way, the Homewizard Eastron meter will be able to measure the entire household and function as a P1 measurement.

Configuration of the Eastron Homewizard meters
After installation, make sure to enable the API: in the HomeWizard app, go to Settings > Meters > ''Your meter'', and enable Local API.

b. Homewizard eastron meter used as P1 measurement if the use of the Homewizard dongle is not possible

Restriction installing multiple Homewizard Eastron meters
FlexiO can only read data from one HomeWizard kWh meter. If there are multiple meters installed, you must disable the API on all meters except the one you want to use for FlexiO. Otherwise there will be no consistency in which meter will be read.
